Note for 3Com Network Administrator users: The 3Com Integration Kit for HP OpenView NNM v3.0 is available at no extra charge to 3Com Network Administrator customers with support contracts. When installed it will update the HP OpenView integration component of 3Com Network Administrator, but does not modify the 3Com Network Administrator application itself.
- Supports HP OpenView Network Node Manager v6.4, v7.0 and v7.5 on Windows and Solaris Operating Systems; also supports client/server installations.
- Provides support for 3Com devices such as 3Com device icons on the NNM map, SNMP trap decoding, and MIB support.
- Provides integration for 3Com network management applications which can then be launched from a 3Com device on the map or directly from the NNM menu. Current management applications supported are 3Com Device View, 3Com Switch Manager, 3Com Router Manager, 3Com Enterprise Management Suite (Client), TippingPoint SMS (Client), and 3Com Network Administrator.
- 3Com Device View, 3Com Switch Manager, and 3Com Router Manager are included on the CD for ease of installation in both Windows and Solaris versions.
